In her own words

I have been working in the field since 1984.
Most of my experience has been working with Design Build companies owned by Landscape Architect/Contractors. I have worked in the Moneterey/Carmel area and Santa Cruz. For the last five years the Los Altos/ Palo Alto area has been where my work is focused. The work that I have done has been both in new construction (addressing city requirements) and remodel.

I Participated in:
-Public Arts Design Workshop for the City of Santa Cruz
-EcoTourism Design Workshop in Costa Rica
-Helped Design and implement exhibits at the
  • San Francisco Garden Show,
  • The Carmel Garden Show
  • Peace Garden to benefit the IYou Venture of Santa Cruz County
I am a Feng Shui Consultant, studied with Pamela Ticoulat who is a student of Master Lin Yun and try to integrate it in my practice when possible. I am a Master Composter and volunteer to do public presentations and outreach for Ecology Action in Santa Cruz County. I teach people how to love worms and why they should. I am also a ember of Ecological Landscape Society and Western Chapter of International Society of Arboriculture

My favorite project for this year so far has been to help create a roof water catchment system for a house in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The project caught and stored 30,000 gallons of pure rainwater (4ppm) in the first two storms of the year. Other favorite projects include creating backyard orchards that are manageble for the homeowner and not over-burdening, designing beautiful and restful gardens for entertainment and fun. Travel experience includes : Europe, Middle East, Nepal, S. E. Asia ( taught conversational English),and Brazil where I was priviledged to visit the home and gardens of Landscape Architect Roberto Burle Marx.
